Autumn Daze coming to Downtown Ennis

Autumn Daze is returning, bringing back the popular Haymaze, children’s crafts and legendary Rock talent to Downtown Ennis throughout the month of October.

From October 1-31, 2021, the Haymaze and pumpkin patch will be open, offering a chance to work your way out of the professionally designed labyrinth of hay bales and autumnal sights. Entrance is free.

Then from 10:00 a.m. through late evening on on October 30 and 31, 2021, a two-day festival will bring the event to its culmination with children’s crafts, pumpkin decorating, costume contests for people and pets and performances on stage of two Rock legends.

Saturday evening, Don Felder takes the stage, credited for giving the Eagles their rock and roll edge. Don is a Grammy Award Winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Member and former lead Guitarist of the Eagles who will perform the popular hits he’s co-penned or performed for 27 years.

On Sunday, The Bellamy Brothers will take the stage with chart topping hits including Let Your Love FlowRedneck Girl and When I’m Away from You. Along with these two national headliners will be a full line-up of local talent providing a variety of unique and upbeat music.

Professional pumpkin carvers will also create masterpieces live on stage. The event will also feature a corn hole tournament with a $1,000 cash prize, a costume contest for both people and pets, trick-or-treating, a beer garden, food, and unique shopping vendors in a family experience promising fun for all ages.

Ticket price is $5 per day for adults. Children 12 years old and under and accompanied by an adult are admitted for free. All proceeds go to Ennis Main Street, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that is committed to providing free, educational, social and cultural programming in Historic Downtown Ennis.

Talley Amusements, the carnival provider for the State Fair of Texas, will be bringing in carnival rides appealing to both thrill seekers and small children. Rides cost an additional fee.
